Jonah Crane

Jonah Crane is an advisor to FinTech companies including Quovo, Inc. and Monzo Bank. He is also Regulator in Residence at the FinTech Innovation Lab in New York City and Executive Director of RegTech Lab in Washington D.C. where he advises regulators and policymakers on facilitating innovation. Prior to January 2017, Jonah served as Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Financial Stability Oversight Council and Senior Advisor at the United States Department of Treasury. Before joining Treasury, Mr. Crane was a policy advisor to Senator Chuck Schumer, where he worked on the Dodd-Frank Act and the JOBS Act, among other economic policy issues. Prior to joining Senator Schumer’s staff, Mr. Crane was a corporate attorney focusing on mergers and acquisitions at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP in New York. Mr. Crane received a J.D. from New York University School of Law.
